Resolving oiling issues with the D and B series

Hello all, I am seeking any input regarding bad oil delivery issues.  Background:  My car is a normally asperated, not street legal, roadracer.  The first motor I used was a fully built D15 with a standard oil pump and no accumilator setup.  It ran great for three races before it blew.  After dissection, it was found that the #1 piston had shattered into about 1,000 pieces and put a h*** in the block.  So, I went with a B16 for the next motor.  I did nothing special to the motor other than…See More

About Me:
I play many instruments and have a passion for good music that is topped only by my passion for racing. I like anything that has a motor (or turbine) in it. For my day job I make fire. I install, service and manufacture equipment and control systems for industrial; commercial and institutional burners for boilers, ovens, furnaces, autoclaves, salt baths, kilns, melting pots, etc. Basically anything that uses some form of heat to do process. I have 2 boys that love coming to Hallett Motor Racing Circuit with me and 1 new baby boy to add to the crew in time. My dad (Darryl) and my brother (Heath) also have race cars that they run at Hallett in the COMMA series. My dad drives a 1977 Datsun 280Z (#2c) and my brother drives the #23 Nissan Sentra in the PA class. My car is the #59 Honda CRX. I built this car myself, motor and all, with my own hands. It had a D15 block with a Y7 head that I ported and polished with my Dremel. I put P29 pistons with Crower rods in the block. With that combination I had a NA, 12.96 : 1, 1493 cc, 1800 lb, roadracing gokart on steroids. Ran great for 3 races but, apparently the 145k miles on the block didn't like the 7800 rpm I hit a few times. (Note to self; use a rev limiter next time) It was the best D15 on the track, and probably the only. The next go was a quickie JDM front clip extraction, no rebuild, just swap. I put a B16A from a JDM Mugen adorned CRX SiR. That motor was fast, beat my fastest times by almost 3 seconds. 6-7 laps into the feature BOOM. Forgot to get that limiter, hit the stock ECU limit twice (8200 RPM) though. (Note to self, put a damn rev limitter in next time). The next go is sitting on the shop floor waiting. Another B16A, however this one will be rebuilt, no swap crap anymore. And will get a CSD with a rev limmiter this time, promise.

What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Racing (real life or video game, doesn't matter), makin' music, "roughing it" (back country camping), going crazy on the go karts and jet ski (or anything else with a motor or wheels), playing and building stuff with my boys and blowing stuff up (safely of coarse), etc, etc.... all the stuff real men do that our wifes most generally disapprove of. he he.

Hallett Racers Group, National Consorteum of Standards Labratories International (NCSLI), National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA); International Heating Equipment Association (IHEA); American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); BSA (scout leader)

You can add videos but they do not "rotate".
