VIRginia International Raceway, located in Southern Virginia between Danville and South Boston, is one of the world's finest road courses. VIR hosts pro and club car and motorcycle races, a wide range of racing and riding schools, track days for cars and bikes, club events, off road driving, drifting and private test rentals. With on site lodging, go karts, corporate events, fine and fun dining, the VIR Club, Camp Motorsport, the Oak Tree Spa and southern hospitality, VIR truly is America's Motorsport Resort!

TRACK CONFIGURATION
VIRginia International Raceway offers 4 configurations, of which 2 can always be run simultaneously. Facilities include two separate paddocks with timing towers, covered tech bays, classrooms, restaurant, race fuel, pro shop and restrooms with showers.
Full Course : 3.27 miles
North Course : 2.25 miles
South Course : 1.65 miles
Patriot Course : 1.1 miles
Front Straightaway : 3000 feet
Back Straightaway : 4000 feet
Elevation Change: 130 feet

Built around the VIRginia International Raceway, the VIR Motorsport Country Club is a high performance driving venue that also offers extensive resort facilities. Its historic location and exquisite planning on 1,200 pastoral acres in the rolling hills of Virginia's Racing Region have earned it widespread support from both the community and motorsport enthusiasts from coast to coast.

Membership Info
There is a $2500 one time, non-refundable initiation fee. Virginia and North Carolina resident membership dues are $175 per month. Dues for all other state residents are $100 per month.

Access for the member and his/her immediate family to the "The Hill", featuring the Plantation Clubhouse & Oak Tree Tavern Restaurant, swimming pool, and activities .Family VIP passes and parking for all professional and amateur public events are included. Discounts at the Lodge and Paddock Suites.

VIR Club Member Driving Days
Friday - Sunday $150/day for all groups.
Monday - Thursday $125/day for all groups.
We also have an all inclusive program for $3200. This will include all your monthly dues and all your driving days. Initiation fee will still apply. No refund for unused portions.

VIR Club will continually add "members only" and/or "member discounted" amenities and activities as it grows. Preference for "limited availability" additions, such as on-site long term storage garages and future residential villas, will be given to members based on their Membership Serial Number. Membership Serial Numbers are assigned in the order that the applications are received so joining sooner rather than later is recommended.

Anyone planning on going to Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historic Races at VIR? It's scheduled for June 4-6, 2010. I'm planning on going, but not sure when I will be there. I hope to be able to meet some of you while there.

VIR is one of the most beautiful facilities in the U.S. And I love the roads you take to get to it!!
