I am currently doing some research for an article on the 1965 Sebring 12 Hour race. This is the race that Chaparral won and also the race that had the deluge of 5 inches of rain that flooded the track. If you were at that event I would like to talk (interview) you about your remembrances of that event. Please let me know if you are interested. You can email me at: louisgalanos@gmail.com

This group is great!

I thought you Vintage Car fans might be interested to learn that our film production produced a TV-series called GT-RACER, featuring races from around the world. We have some great footage of races like the Nurburgring, Laguna Seca, Spa, Silverstone, Lime Rock and the Porto's Street Circuit!

GT-RACER is now out on DVD. You can see trailers on the director's page on the VRL here:
http://www.myvrl.com/profile/AlexanderDavidis

Also, make sure you check out Shaken & Stirred, a Cinema Verite Documentary devoted to classic Aston Martin racing at Spa!

You can also order the DVDs here:
http://www.spiritlevelfilm.com/shop/product.php?productid=16159&cat=248&utm_source=jgfilm&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=gtracer

For VRL members we put in a great discount that you get by entering this discount code: "JGFILM"

Hopefully we get some feedback how you liked the films.
We have a group on the VRL to discuss them that is here:

I'll be there with my Abarth Ritmo 100TC convertible; the only one left of the 10 Abarth Ritmo convertibles ever built! (4 junkers are known to exist)

The focus of the latest issue on the 1957 Aston Martin DBR1, Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori combined with Casey's editorial on Braun GP all combine to make a winner of a magazine. Ad Pete Lyon's input, what else do you need? Of course they occasionally publish my images so maybe I may be a little prejudice? Still a good read if not the best American vintage publication.
