SouthWest MotorSport
SouthWest MotorSport is a non-profit organization dedicated to vintage and contemporary recreational racing based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Originally formed as an outlet for vintage racers, SWMS welcomes everyone who has an interest in vintage, hobby, and recreational road-racing and karting.
Our home track is Sandia Motor Speedway, located twelve miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, but we also race in other locations such as Arroyo Seco, New Mexico and Pueblo MotorSports Park in Colorado.
SouthWest MotorSport Welcomes Enthusiasts at All Levels
Though originally formed as a group for "racers," SWMS also runs a high-performance driving school for those interested in learning better driving skills and for those interested in working their way toward a competition license.
During our event weekends we also host "lapping" sessions for those qualified drivers who have successfully completed our driving school and would like to drive their cars at speed in a safe environment.
