This is Lola T163 Hu17 that was originally delivered to Penske Racing. It was part of the "Lola deal" involving the purchase of Lola Indycars, Formula 5000 and prototype sports car. This lightweight T163 was built to Penske specification. Penske raced the car just once with Mark Donohue driving. The 1969 Mid-Ohio Can Am where the car retired due to driveshaft failure. This car has only had 3 owners since Penske. One of them was current McLaren Formula 1 boss Zak Brown.
