Bugatti Type 35

Ettore Bugatti was a man who did not fear setting himself a hard task. It was not just Bugatti's exceptional design skills, but also his vision and bravery to defy conventional engineering principles of the time that delivered the Bugatti Type 35 — a car significantly ahead of its rivals in so many areas. It was also "Le Patron's" willingness to push himself and the entire Bugatti team hard in pursuit of perfection. (Image: Sports Car Digest)

Verstappen leads Piastri and Sainz during first practice in Miami as Leclerc spins out

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen set the pace during practice for the Miami Grand Prix, slotting ahead of McLaren rival Oscar Piastri and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz in a busy, interrupted opening session. As per China last time out, the Miami International Autodrome is playing host to a Sprint weekend, meaning just 60 minutes of running for drivers and teams to get back up to speed around the 5.412-kilometre venue before Sprint Qualifying.

US Congress wants answers from F1 after Andretti Cadillac team rejection

U.S. Congress has written a letter to Formula One Management (FOM) demanding answers about F1's decision to keep Cadillac and General Motors out of the race. The bipartisan group of 12 representatives, including Michigan Representative John James and racing legend Mario Andretti, warn F1 of federal antitrust action if it doesn't reconsider its decision.

Ferrari 12Cilindri goes retro-future with clear homage to the Daytona

Inspired by Ferrari's V12-powered grand tourers of the 1950s and 1960s, the fascia and front fenders bear a strong resemblance to the stunning Ferrari 365 GTB/4 and 365 GTS/4 Daytonas that rate as some of the most gorgeous sports cars ever. Big packages for McLaren and Mercedes among Miami F1 upgrades

The Miami Grand Prix marks the end of the first quarter of the 2024 Formula 1 season, and it's here where two of the teams in the chasing pack behind Red Bull have decided to bring their most significant upgrades yet. But McLaren and Mercedes aren't alone, as eight outfits have new parts to trial in the United States. Mark Hughes rounds up what's been declared in Friday's 'show and tell'.

A two page list of cleanup and fixup projects mostly complete, scrubbing the floor will finish that off. I got the social media stuff back on track. I assigned someone to direct the creation of our new website. I am quite optimistic about the coming season. …
